Tim specialises in domestic and international private equity transactions. He regularly advises private equity funds, portfolio companies, management teams and sellers, selling to private equity.
Tim is based in our London office and co-heads our international Private Equity Cross-Border Group. He is a corporate lawyer specialising in private equity transactions for financial sponsors and their investee companies in the UK and Europe. He also provides independent advice to c-suite managers undertaking private equity transactions as well as vendors on exits where private equity are potential bidders.
Tim has specialised in private equity for more than 20 years and has extensive experience acting on private equity transactions across a number of sectors in the UK and Europe. He previously headed the private equity team at Osborne Clarke and prior to that, Squire Patton Boggs, before joining us in 2024.
Tim has been recognised in legal directories for his “very practical, straightforward” approach and “calm and measured style”.
