Simmons advises PE firm Kester on backing of Addresscloud

Simmons & Simmons has advised private equity house Kester Capital on its investment in Addresscloud, a leading provider of insurance risk intelligence data.

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised private equity firm Kester Capital on its investment in Addresscloud, a leading provider of insurance risk intelligence data.

Addresscloud is a rapidly growing information and data leader with a significant reputation in providing the insurance sector with geospatial risk solutions across their underwriting journey. Kester’s investment will enable Addresscloud to accelerate its growth trajectory, strengthening its presence in the UK and internationally.

Kester is a leading UK private equity investor focused on the technology and healthcare sectors. Its latest investment in Addresscloud represents its sixth investment out of its latest fund, Kester Capital III, which closed at its hard cap of £200 million in March 2024.

This deal with Addresscloud follows Kester’s backing of Re-flow in March 2025, also advised by Simmons.

The Simmons team supporting Kester on the deal was led by corporate partner and private equity specialist Tim Hewens.

Commenting on the deal, Tim said: “We were thrilled to work with Kester again, and advise them on this strategic investment in Addresscloud, which marks another significant transaction for the firm.
