Oscar Lamme is a litigation partner in the Amsterdam Office of Simmons & Simmons with 20 years of experience. His practice focuses on national and international complex civil litigation related to commercial disputes, patents, antitrust, general tort claims, liability of financial institutions, seizures, and general IP.

Oscar helps clients navigate complex legal, commercial and technical challenges. With a background in industrial engineering, he is well placed to represent a wide variety of multinational clients active in telecom, finance, electronics, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry.

His cases are mostly cross-jurisdictional and he often works at the intersection of different areas of law, such as patent law and competition law.

Oscar is ranked in Band 3 in Chambers Global 2026, with sources stating: “He is an exceptional talent who not only has a strong legal background in matters related to IP and experience in litigation but is also especially outstanding with his sharp and friendly personality.” The Legal 500 lists him in 2025 as ‘Next Generation Partner’, citing that “Oscar Lamme has litigated complex international SEP cases before the Dutch court. He is technically qualified and thus can easily grasp complex subject matter both in pharma cases as well as telecom cases” and “Oscar Lamme is one of the few litigators in the Netherlands with both a legal and technical background and the face of Dutch UPC”.
