Proposed suspension of EU-Israel trade agreement
European Commission proposes a suspension of trade provisions in the Association Agreement with Israel and targeted sanctions. Council approval still required.
Trading internationally can be difficult. Companies must navigate a complex web of national import and export controls, VAT, customs and excise duties, rules of international organizations like the WTO and EU, and the terms of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. These rules and how they interact with one another are changing rapidly in what has become an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.
We guide clients through all aspects of international trade law including: supply chain analysis, tax, and the implications of new > trading arrangements (such as those that may be brought about by Brexit).
We build tailored, concise, and clear solutions that are always focused on delivering the best commercial outcome for the client.
We have advised several clients on a wide array of trade law questions, including those that raise complex issues regarding Brexit.
