Lauren is a Managing Associate in the Employment practice in London. She advises financial institutions and fast-growth technology companies on high-stakes employment matters, with a particular focus on complex international and multi-jurisdictional issues.
Her practice sits at the intersection of employment law and emerging technology. Lauren is recognised for her work advising on the use of AI in HR and recruitment, helping organisations navigate the employment, regulatory and data protection implications of deploying AI tools across multiple jurisdictions, including compliance with the EU AI Act.
Lauren regularly leads multi-jurisdictional projects across Simmons & Simmons' international network and beyond. She brings a genuinely global perspective to her work, reinforced by more than two and a half years based in San Francisco advising US-headquartered businesses on international workforce issues.
She has extensive experience in employment disputes and business protection litigation, including High Court proceedings, employment tribunal claims and interim relief applications, as well as acting in matters involving litigants in person. Lauren also advises on the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime, non-financial misconduct investigations and the employment aspects of corporate transactions and real estate projects.
Lauren holds an MBA in Legal Services.
