Silvia is a partner in our Dispute Resolution Group based in Hong Kong. She specialises in complex litigation and contentious regulatory matters. Her clients include financial institutions, professional services firms and multi-national corporations.
Silvia has experience in a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, including joint venture disputes, mis-selling claims, cross-border asset recovery, and the application of tracing and injunction remedies. Her interest extends to corporate governance, where she has acted in a high-profile unfair prejudice petition involving a bank, as well as in high-value claims involving directors and officers in the Hong Kong High Court.
Her work also covers investigations and contentious regulatory matters, notably those initiated by SFC, HKMA, ICAC and AFRC. She is particularly adept at dealing with cases with intricate cross-border elements, large investigatory document sets and complex disclosure exercises.
Silvia is also a specialist in professional negligence matters, with years of experience handling complex and technical litigation, investigation and disciplinary matters for major accounting firms.
Joining Simmons & Simmons in 2012, Silvia has enriched her professional experience through a secondment at a major international bank. She is a contributing editor of Hong Kong Civil Procedure.
