The Central Bank of Ireland is advising of the following cut-off times for fund or fund service provider submissions over the Christmas period.

ICAVs

Registration / Conversion / Migration Applications

  • Effective date - 24 December 2026 to 4 January 2027
  • Deadline for receipt - 5 pm, 11 December

QIAIFs

Change of service provider filings

  • Effective date - 23 to 31 December 2026
  • Deadline for receipt – 5 pm, 18 December

Seeking authorisation / approval / noting on

23 and 24 December 2026

  • Deadline for receipt - 3 pm on 22 December

29 December 2026

  • Deadline for receipt - 3 pm on 22 December

30 and 31 December 2026

To focus on UCITS, RIAIF and Retail ELTIF applications considered likely to be authorised / approved prior to year-end the Central Bank will not count the following periods towards the timeframes for issuing comments

  • 24, 29, 30 and 31 December 2026 and
  • 4 - 8 January 2027

The following periods will count towards the timeframe in which an application will be assessed.

  • 18 to 23 December 2026 and
  • 11 to 18 January 2027

This means that, for example

  • the receipt date of an application received on 24 December 2026 will be 11 January 2027 and
  • where a subsequent draft non-fast track application is received before 5pm on 17 December, it will be due out on 18 January 2027.

Funds seeking to revoke

Complete revocation application and payment of funding levy

Desired date of revocation – by end of December 2026
Deadline for submission and payment - 5pm on 15 December.

If intending to submit an Acquiring Transaction Notification between 29 and 31 December 2026 (inclusive), firms should email the Fund Service Provider Authorisation Team by 23 December 2026 at Mancofspauthorisations@centralbank.ie.
