Peter Lee leads the firm’s global AI governance advisory practice. He is a Partner in our Digital Business Group and is an industry recognised leader in AI governance.
He works with organisations to adopt AI safely and competitively, with robust, legally compliant frameworks and controls.
In 2016, Peter co founded Wavelength, the world’s first legal engineering business, pioneering the use of artificial intelligence, design and data science in legal work. Wavelength was acquired by Simmons & Simmons in 2019.
Peter chairs the Sustainability and ESG Group at the Society for Computers and Law, is a contributing author to The Law of Artificial Intelligence (Sweet & Maxwell) and is engaged in research at the University of Cambridge on responsible AI and its use.
He writes and speaks regularly on AI governance and the evolving relationship between AI, the law, and work.
