Emilie Danglades-Perez is Of Counsel in the Dispute Resolution group in Paris and specialises in Data Protection and Privacy.

She has considerable experience advising clients on the implementation and monitoring of GDPR compliance programmes, as well as supporting organisations with the day-to-day management of their data protection obligations. Emilie regularly assists with data subjects’ rights requests, prepares responses to supervisory authorities, and helps manage complaints relating to privacy regulations. She is also experienced in crisis management relating to personal data breaches, from the initial assessment and containment of incidents to the notification of affected individuals and competent authorities. In addition, Emilie supports clients with internal investigations involving data protection and security, helping them address issues that may affect their compliance.

Alongside her privacy work, Emilie advises clients on the deployment and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, particularly in relation to data protection requirements.

She helps organisations understand and address the regulatory aspects of AI projects, including compliance with GDPR, the developing EU AI Act, and sector-specific rules.

Emilie works with clients from a range of sectors, including technology, on the development and deployment of digital tools, ensuring compliance with privacy, AI, internet users’ rights, and consumer law. She also supports digital marketing projects in line with GDPR and ePrivacy requirements.

She has experience in the Life Sciences sector, assisting pharmaceutical and medical device companies with projects involving digital therapeutics and Big Data, as well as supporting clinical trials in France and across Europe in compliance with privacy regulations.

Emilie is also involved in commercial and product liability litigation, representing both French and international companies before civil and commercial courts.
