The transition to a sustainable blue economy represents the next frontier in combatting climate change and enhancing biodiversity.
We expect blue economy investments to become increasingly attractive as investors adapt their economic calculus to factor in the true cost of nature (and therefore its value).
Following our work in promoting the blue economy agenda, which has included:
hosting a flagship event in our London office (Financing the Growth of the Blue Economy);
convening blue-focused roundtable and sponsored key conferences (including the World Ocean Summit in Lisbon in March 2024); and
contributing to ocean literacy through our podcast series in collaboration with UK NGO Marine Conservation Society
our new client briefing sets out why investors and managers should start to think "blue".
