Elinor is an Associate in our London office, specialising in intellectual property law. Elinor qualified in August 2021 and has a broad range of experience handling contentious, transactional and advisory matters.
Elinor's practice comprises brand clearance, trade mark filings, prosecution and brand enforcement; as well as disputes involving copyright, trade mark and design infringement and breaches of confidential information. On the transactional side, Elinor supports clients with intellectual property assignments and licensing as well as sponsorship, talent and supplier agreements.
In addition, Elinor has advised a variety of clients in relation to advertising law matters, including global advertising law guidance, ASA complaints, carbon-neutral claims, greenwashing in the financial services sector and national and multi-jurisdictional prize promotions.
Elinor is a core member of the Gaming and Immersive Technologies group at Simmons & Simmons and was recognised by Legal 500 as a key lawyer in the category of Media: Video Games in March 2025.
Before joining Simmons & Simmons, Elinor worked at another major global firm based in London, with international secondments to Stockholm and Hong Kong; as well as client secondments to both Unilever and the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
