Interpreting the SFDR – more questions for the Commission

The European Supervisory Authorities have submitted further questions to the European Commission to clarify a number of aspects of the SFDR.

On 13 September 2022, the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) published a further eight questions on the interpretation of aspects of the SFDR, which they submitted to the European Commission (Commission) on 9 September 2022. The answers have not yet been published.

This note summarises the questions, and sets out our high-level reaction. This note will likely be of interest to those firms who are closely tracking the implementation of SFDR in respect of products which are in-scope of SFDR and preparing for the RTS deadline of 1 January 2023.
