David is a Supervising Associate within the Digital Business group in London. He advises on technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) and Financial Institutions (FI) matters, including regulated outsourcings, IT and cloud services transformation, data protection and artificial intelligence.
David trained and qualified at the firm in 2018, before then returning to the firm in 2025 following some time working in-house at a large-cloud services provider for a number of years, where he was instrumental in structuring and negotiating high-value international cloud services agreements, professional services contracts and other forms of commercial contracts dealing with the use of generative AI in the cloud.
David also has significant experience advising on digital regulatory matters, ranging from data privacy advice to advising on the EU AI Act, the EU’s Digital Operational Resiliency Act, the UK Critical Third-Party Regime, and the EU Data Act. Latterly, David has developed expertise on regulatory matters concerning automated vehicles in the UK.
