Luis is a Supervising Associate in the Corporate and Commercial department of our Madrid office.
Luis’ main areas of practice include project and infrastructure finance, corporate finance and NPL sale and purchases. In particular, he advises both lenders and borrowers on all types of energy and infrastructure transactions including project finance, refinancing and acquisition financing.
Luis holds a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Banking Law and Financial Institutions at Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF).
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Luis worked as a Banking and Finance lawyer at several leading Spanish law firms and at international financial institutions.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
His working languages are Spanish and English.
