Sonia is a partner in the Financial Markets Group in Singapore. She has more than 20 years of experience in providing legal and regulatory advice within the financial markets and advising on complex derivatives and structured product transactions.

Sonia focuses on financial services regulations and advises on a broad spectrum of matters including licensing, conduct of business and regulatory capital requirements She is also experienced in advising on digital products/services and digital plaforms. Her clients include banks, broker/dealers, asset managers, private banks and fintechs.

Sonia also brings with her a wealth of experience in advising on legal/regulatory issues relating to derivatives and structured transactions. This includes a broad range of products and transaction structures across different asset classes (including FX, rates, equity and funds) and repos and stock lending arrangements.

Sonia is qualified to practise in Singapore and England and Wales.
