Ugo advises clients on the legal, regulatory and corporate aspects of the formation, development and restructuring of regulated management entities and investment funds in Luxembourg.
He has an extensive experience on asset management and regulated entities, with particular focus on management companies, AIFMs, investment firms and other professionals of the financial sector.
He regularly assists and supports management companies, AIFMs, and other Professionnels du Secteur Financier (PSF) in relation to their set-up, defining and drafting internal procedures and operational manuals, drafting essential operational agreements such as management agreements, distribution agreements and outsourcing agreements. Ugo advises clients also on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and sustainable finance, including the EU SFDR.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons he worked for an Italian boutique law firm and for various international banks and asset managers.
He is member of the Luxembourg Bar as, Avocat à la Cour - Liste I.
