Institutional Investors

Our Investment Funds team gives expert advice to international clients, including some of the world’s largest institutional investors.

We are experts in advising investors. Acting for IFIs, DFIs, SWF, pension funds and others, we work across the spectrum of investment arrangements, covering pooled fund participations, single-investor funds and managed accounts of all types. Our experience acting for other investors and fund sponsors helps our investor clients understand and mitigate legal risk. We adopt a range of approaches, from a high-level red flag review, to the more granular analysis. Our team help achieve improvements to the fund documentation and suitable side letter protections, enhancing each client’s commercial position whilst mitigating their risks.

The team are experts in bespoke investment arrangements such as funds of one and managed account structures, as well as co-investments. Once an investment or advice on the ongoing management of our clients’ investments, including changes to fund documentation, service providers or other matters. We advise on secondary disposals (as well as acquisitions), including complex multi-asset deals, disputes and other issues with investment managers.
