Ignacio is a finance lawyer who acts for international and local banks, corporates and investment firms on a broad range of cross-border financing transactions and financial regulatory issues.
Ignacio is Of Counsel in our financial markets group in Madrid. His experience includes advising on the arrangement of international debt programmes and bond issues and on a broad range of lending transactions, with a particular focus on real estate or trade finance. He regularly advise on secondary market loan transactions and has been involved on a number of restructurings and insolvencies.
Ignacio also advises on the provision of cross-border financial services, investment in regulated entities, share disclosure and short selling rules and market conduct issues.
Since joining Simmons & Simmons, Ignacio has completed secondments at our London office and at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc in London.
