The new partners and their practice areas are as follows:

Julien Moiroux - Paris, DR, Clarence Ding - Singapore, Employment, Helen Fok - Hong Kong, FM, Paul Metcalfe - London, FM, Emilien Bernard-Alzias - Paris, FM, Sarah Thompson - London, Solutions

Commenting on the latest round of partner promotions, senior partner Julian Taylor said: “I am really pleased to announce and welcome this next generation of lawyers to the global partnership, They all demonstrate the very best of Simmons’ innovative approach to delivering for clients and I’m excited about the contribution they will make to the long-term success of the firm. I am particularly pleased to welcome Sarah Thompson to the partnership, the first promotion within our Simmons Solutions business area, a move which reflects the central importance of the Solutions function to Simmons’ service delivery and the fact that we need a range of business professionals, not just lawyers, to ensure the best partnerships with our clients.

Julian continued: “Whilst we have promoted a diverse talent pool this year, we have to own the fact that we have fallen short of our gender diversity target. That follows several years of beating our target; we need to maintain our focus and ensure that the long term trend continues – improving our gender balance is a business critical issue for the firm.
