An international team comprising teams from Düsseldorf, Milan and Tokyo advised Tokuyama Dental Corporation in a transaction to buy out its former joint venture partner Euronda Deutschland GmbH from their German joint venture company Tokuyama Dental Deutschland GmbH – which acts as sales channel for Tokuyama Dental’s products in Europe. With this step, Tokuyama Dental aims to accelerate its sales in the important European market.
The transaction was co-lead by Simmons’ Head of the German M&A Practice, Dr Stephan Ulrich, and Counsel Sabine Krause from the Simmons Düsseldorf Japan Desk. They were supported by partner Aaron Patience (M&A) and consultant Haruna Yamakawa (M&A, both Tokyo), Counsel Martin Gramsch (antitrust), supervising associate Annika Scheske (employment) and associate Ebru Köroglu (M&A, all Düsseldorf) as well as partner Dario Spinella, of Counsel Moira Gamba, associate Martina Sayaka Angeletti and stagiaire Alessandra Russo (all M&A Milan).
