How is the product structured?

All summaries use the same tabular format with consistent wording, making it easier to navigate Trading Venue rules and documents.

Each Trading Venue is individually reviewed using the same templates. This consists of:

• Basic Information;
• a RAG and Rulebook Review; and
• a Definitions section.

The Basic Information provides up-to-date regulatory information on the venue – its regulatory status, products, and key documentation. We include a copy of the latest version of the source documents.

Our personally-developed RAG Review uses traffic light coding to summarise trading venue documentation, allowing users to identify outliers and action points at a glance.

Rulebook Reviews

The Rulebook Reviews compare the Trading Venue Rulebooks against MiFID2 requirements for European venues and local laws for non-European jurisdictions. We cover many topics, including membership criteria, trade suspensions and cancellation, liability allocation, dispute resolution, use of market data and member data, membership fees and sanctions for rule breaches.

Our subscribers have access to the up to date summaries and materials we have reviewed in an on-line tool easy downable in PDF format. TVR summaries are updated once a year by our high ranked team of legal reviewers. As part of subscription our subscribers receive monthly notification of rules updates and their marked up version linked to the trading venue’s MIC code via email.
