The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has published its consultation paper on proposed changes to the AIM Rules for Companies (AIM Rules) (see AIM Notice 62 and the draft rules). As the FCA has reduced obligations for Main Market listed companies, and the private markets provide ever easier access to capital for growth companies, it has been clear that AIM would need to change with the times.
In this consultation paper the LSE is proposing significant changes aimed at reducing the regulatory burden on AIM companies and attracting more international companies to London.
