In this year’s edition, the demand for supply chain finance is reported to be increasing in all regions, although its attractiveness and the extent to which market participants understand how to implement supply chain finance programmes differ from region to region. A key trend reported in each region is the emphasis on the importance of risk management and technology to further development.

Recent estimates suggest that up to 90 per cent of potential revenue in the supply chain finance market remains untapped. At the same time, while demand for sustainable investing and ESG finance continues to grow, there is a lack of credible sustainable investment opportunities.
