Han Ming is the firm’s Head of Funds in APAC. His practice focuses on the structuring, formation and ongoing operation of a broad range of investment funds, including private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and venture capital funds. He regularly advises fund managers on the establishment of business operations in Singapore, as well as the formation, structuring and registration of investment funds across Singapore and other Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
His clients include global and regional fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and alternative investment platforms. He has acted as fund counsel for a variety of open-ended and close-ended strategies, including advising on flagship hedge funds, infrastructure funds, secondaries, and private equity platforms. Han Ming also has significant experience advising on cross-border fund launches, regulatory matters, and downstream and upstream investment issues.

Han Ming is an active member of industry bodies, including the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the Singapore Venture and Private Capital Association (SVCA), and the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS). He has previously served as Singapore National Group Chairman of AIMA and as a director on the Asia-Pacific Board (Council) of AIMA.
