Laura is an Associate in the EU Competition, Antitrust and Trade team based in Brussels. Her practice focuses on EU and Spanish competition law, foreign direct investment screening, merger control, and the regulatory frameworks governing digital platforms, including the DSA, DMA, and AI Act. She advises on a broad range of matters at the intersection of competition law, digital regulation, and data protection.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Laura worked at a Spanish law firm in Madrid, where she advised on a variety of competition and regulatory matters across both domestic and cross-border contexts . She is qualified in Spain and registered on the E-list of the Brussels Bar. Laura is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
