Maria is an Of Counsel in the Banking & Finance group in Luxembourg.
Maria advises private credit funds, alternative lenders, sponsors, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on the full range of cross-border debt financing, including secured lending, real estate finance, leveraged finance, project finance, distressed financing solutions, with depth in pre-insolvency restructuring strategy and cross-border enforcement.
Maria also advises clients in the digital assets space on the legal architecture of tokenisation projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Maria practiced banking and finance law at a leading European law firm in Luxembourg and, as an associate in the banking and finance group of a major US law firm. She also completed a secondment to the legal department of a global financial institution, covering financial markets, derivatives and brokerage.
Maria is an active member of 100 Women in Finance Luxembourg and speaks regularly at industry events.
