Cecilia Tsang is an Associate in our Greater China TMT team, with experience in our Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Dubai offices. She is admitted to practise in Hong Kong, and speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Cecilia specialises in the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) sector, providing expert advice on a wide range of corporate and regulatory matters. Her areas of expertise include data privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software licensing agreements (including SaaS contracts) and service level agreements. She has also advised on a variety of cross-border M&A transactions, VC/PE investments and general commercial matters.
Cecilia's experience encompasses working with a spectrum of clients, including leading international and Chinese technology companies, financial institutions, asset managers, virtual banks and payment companies. Her ability to effectively navigate the complexities of the legal landscape allows her to deliver insightful and practical legal solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Cecilia is recommended in the TMT category in China by The Legal 500, where she is noted for her broad practice spanning AI, SaaS agreements, PE and VC investments, and sector-focused corporate transactions.
Cecilia holds an LLB from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
