Michael Jochner is admitted to practice as a German Patent Attorney. In addition to handling patent applications up to their grant, his focus is on German oppositions, nullity actions and cancellation proceedings, on freedom-to-operate analyses as well as on assisting and participating in infringement proceedings before the German infringement courts.
His technical expertise lies in particular in the fields of pharmaceutical process engineering and pharmaceutical technology, semiconductor technology, general mechanics, tyre technology, wind energy technology as well as textile fibre technology and 3D printing. Furthermore, he is also very familiar with other intellectual property rights such as trademarks, utility models and design protection rights on a national and international level.
Before becoming a patent attorney and after earning his degree in life science engineering at Technical University of Munich, Michael Jochner worked for a medium-sized engineering company as a project engineer and at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig as a research assistant in the field of cell culture and dosage forms.
Michael Jochner is a member of the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP).
