Ruby specialises in investment funds and advises on a variety of products: SFC-authorised/retail funds (both listed and unlisted), including UCITS, exchange traded funds (ETFs), structured funds, future-based ETFs and leveraged and inverse products, and offshore hedge funds and private funds.
She assists her clients throughout the life cycle of a fund, including its launch, ongoing compliance issues, restructuring and termination. Clients include international institutional managers and other Hong Kong-licensed asset managers.
Ruby joined Simmons & Simmons in 2018 as an associate. Before rejoining Simmons & Simmons in 2022 as a supervising associate, she worked at an international law firm in Hong Kong focusing on private funds.
