Jemima is an experienced employment lawyer who leads the Employment Team’s knowledge and practice development function. Her role involves developing market insights and thought leadership for clients on recent and forthcoming employment law developments.
She regularly speaks at in-house client seminars and external conferences, as well as providing bespoke training for clients. She has particular expertise in equalities law, board-level reorganisations, corporate governance and internal investigations in the financial services sector. Jemima has chaired various working parties of the Employment Lawyers’ Association’s Legislative and Policy Committee.
Jemima is a member of the firm’s Governance and Culture Advisory Team (GCAT) which advises on all aspects of corporate governance, culture, remuneration and risk. The GCAT Team helps clients navigate the increasingly challenging legal and regulatory requirements in relation to governance and culture.
Jemima contributed chapters to Sweet & Maxwell’s Practitioner’s Guide to Directors’ Duties & Responsibilities and The ICSA’s Directors’ Handbook.
In 2022, Jemima completed the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership course and co-chairs City HR's ESG Committee. She advises clients on the "people" aspects of their ESG strategy and sit on the firm's Climate Committee.
