Michelle is a Disputes Partner in the Insurance & Construction group based in London, specialising in:
Professional liability:
Acting in complex, high value High Court litigation defending professional negligence claims against a range of professionals (solicitors, brokers, financial advisers, construction professionals, with a particular focus on large law firms).
Advising a range of professional indemnity insurers on tricky policy coverage issues, as well as direct claims under the Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Act 2010.
Professional regulation and discipline:
Acting for law firms and individuals, both in private practice and in-house, in defending (often high profile) regulatory investigations brought by the SRA.
Advising generally, including on possible SRA rule breaches and reporting to the SRA.
