Mauro is a Counsel in our Dispute Resolution group in Milan. He leads the Italian Product Liability, Regulation and Compliance practice and is a key member of the Firm’s respective cross-border group. With over a decade of experience in product liability and regulatory issues in relation to a wide range of medicinal products and medical devices, he also assists clients in a broad spectrum of domestic and cross-border commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as in early case assessment and alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Member of the newly created European Pharmaceutical Law Association (EPLA), Mauro has extensive experience in healthcare & life sciences contracts and regulatory compliance throughout the entire product life cycle, focusing on clinical trials and investigations, market access, pricing and reimbursement, post-market surveillance, transparency, promotion and advertising.
Mauro’s expertise includes advising leading companies operating in various industries (HLS, IT, automotive, chemicals, consumer goods, electronics) on sector-specific product safety requirements, product recalls management and regulatory compliance matters, and assisting them in the conduct of internal investigation procedures.
