Emmanuel provides strategic commercial, legal and regulatory advice principally on behalf of regulated industry players, notably the pharmaceutical, medical devices and medtech sector. Emmanuel regularly advises those companies as well as investment funds in transactional negotiations, especially M&A and license agreements. He also advises clients on day-to-day regulatory and commercial issues.
Emmanuel has also gained significant experience as a litigator advising global companies in multi-jurisdiction product liability and tort law cases. He is notably involved as defence lawyer in one of the first product liability-related class action initiated before French courts.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Emmanuel developed extensive expertise in M&A and general corporate law.
He holds a specialised degree in private law from University Paris II.
