Liz advises a wide variety of clients on a range of employment law issues, both contentious and non contentious. From a non contentious perspective, Liz regularly advises clients in respect of the drafting of employment documentation (including detailed bonus wording and restrictive covenants for senior executives), the handling of negotiated exits, redundancies (individual and collective), grievances and disciplinary processes and the drafting of relevant employment provisions in the context of business sales, acquisitions and outsourcings.
Contentious experience includes advising clients in respect of Employment Tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, sex and race discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing, and in respect of High Court Litigation including a claim for breach of contract (bonus) and potential actions arising out of breach of contract and misuse of confidential information by former employees of a UK multi national client.
