International law firm Simmons & Simmons has won two awards at the Legal Technology Awards, claiming both the ‘Technology Venture of the Year’ and ‘Alliance of the Year’ awards.
The Legal Technology Awards, which span 12 categories, honour outstanding achievements in legal technology, IT security, leadership, and innovation, highlighting individuals, teams, and suppliers.
The ‘Technology Venture of the Year’ award recognises Simmons & Simmons’ innovative development of generative AI tool Percy, which is deeply embedded in the firm's operations and legal work. The now multi-award-winning solution has widespread adoption, with lawyers, business services professionals and other employees using Percy on a routine basis, creating over 5,000 daily prompts.
Meanwhile, the 'Alliance of the Year’ award, acknowledged the deeply collaborative nature of Simmons & Simmons work with IT consultancy Harmeston, which was a shining example of best practice that brought tangible benefits to Simmons & Simmons as Harmeston’s client.
