Emma is a Managing Associate in the Employment group. Emma provides advice in relation to both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters and has advised on a variety of Employment Tribunal claims (particularly cases involving whistleblowing claims, as well as sex, maternity, race, age and disability discrimination claims.
On the advisory side, Emma has experience with grievance and disciplinary matters, as well as advising on day to day employment queries. Emma has gained valuable commercial experience from two secondments to a global bank, working within a dynamic in-house Employment Legal team for over 18 months.
Emma has worked on a number of complex and large-scale multi-jurisdictional projects, coordinating local advice on a range of cross-border issues for international companies striving for global harmonisation of policies and practices. With a keen interest in international work, Emma spent six months of her training contract in our Hong Kong Employment team and will soon be going on a mini-secondment to our Madrid office, to further her cross-border knowledge and networks.
More recently, Emma has advised on investigation work, both from the side of a legal advisor and from the side of the external investigator.
