The speakers in the first episode are George Morris - a partner in our London Digital Business team who specialises in crypto, and blockchain technology and Gordon Ritchie - a supervising associate in the FS Regulatory team in London who focuses on crypto asset regulation.
In this session Gordon and George cover the top-level requirements for crypto promotion that were published. Part II of the session will be published in due course and it will focus on detailed FCA rules and frictions stemming from the new rules.

Part II covers the detailed rules that the FCA has published in relation to how crypto firms have to go about compliance with financial promotions rules. In this session the focus is on monetary and non-monetary inducements, standardized risk warnings, direct offer promotions and frictions around onboarding, as well as many other things.
