A summary of the new SPAC listing regime in Hong Kong.
Ending the long-awaited anticipation, the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited announced its consultation conclusions to the new listing regime for special purpose acquisition vehicles (SPACs) on 17 December 2021. Joining major peer markets in the US, UK and Singapore, SPACs will be able to list in Hong Kong from 1 January 2022.
