Subject to the opinion of the High Council of Public Health, the draft Protocol of 20 August 2020 which is due to be updated over the week end should be published on Monday (It has NOT been published yet)

  • Compulsory face masks in communal and circulation settings (meeting rooms, open work spaces, corridors, changing rooms, shared office spaces). Only exemption: individual offices.

  • Face masks are individual protection equipment. As such, they should be provided by the employer (general public face masks, preferably reusable).

  • These measures should be included in the Internal Policy or a memorandum (in practice, update of returning to the workplace protocols).

  • Temperature screening is not recommended and cannot be compulsory.

  • A certain ambivalence on working from home. It remains recommended in active virus circulation zones but a return "on site" is encouraged.

  • Confirmation of safety measures: social distancing (one metre between employees), washing hands, etc.

  • Daily cleaning of premises (twice a day for stair railings).

  • Air circulation:

    • Air regularly by opening all windows
    • Ensure effective operating and maintenance of mechanical air vents
    • Do not use fans
    • Air conditioning is possible if air is renewed and filter is efficient
  • Isolation and steps to be taken in case of suspected Covid.
