Isabella is an associate in the firm's Insurance and Construction team.
She advises developers, investors, contractors and private clients on a broad range of contentious construction matters. Her practice includes adjudication, litigation, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution, with particular experience in fire safety and cladding-related disputes, payment disputes, contractor insolvency, and consultant professional negligence claims.
Isabella regularly acts on complex, high-value construction disputes and has experience advising clients throughout the dispute lifecycle, from project delivery and claims management through to formal proceedings and settlement. She works closely with technical experts and counsel to help clients navigate commercially sensitive and technically complex issues.
Dual qualified in England & Wales and Ireland, Isabella has experience advising on both domestic and cross-border disputes across the real estate, construction and infrastructure sectors.
Experience
- Advising an institutional investor in relation to a £100 million claim concerning defective design and cladding defects at a residential development.
- Advising an international developer in adjudications arising from a hotel development, including the successful defence of an £18 million claim for repudiatory breach of contract.
- Advising clients on claims arising from fire safety and cladding defects following contractor insolvencies across multiple residential developments.
- Advising employers and contractors on contentious construction matters under JCT and NEC forms of contract.
