Chu is a specialist funds finance lawyer with expertise across the full range of fund finance products, including subscription line facilities, net asset value (NAV) facilities, hybrid facilities, general partner (GP) and co-investment facilities and management facilities. Her practice is predominantly lender side, acting for a broad range of bank and non-bank lenders.
Having started her career in the fund formation team, Chu has in-depth knowledge of fund documentation and the commercial drivers of credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and secondaries funds. She is experienced in advising lenders on tailoring security packages for a variety of fund structures, and in working with sponsors at the fund structuring and documentation stage to build in their specific financing requirements from the outset.
