Raminder is a partner based in our Riyadh office. He is a highly seasoned Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure (ENRI) lawyer, with over 30 years’ global experience of advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional ENRI matters.
This includes most recently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, advising on numerous high-profile and innovative transactions and projects, over a 4 year on-the-ground period.
He possesses a unique skillset - with a career spanning two decades in premier global law firms, followed most recently by a decade as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel to two major ENRI sector corporates.
Accordingly, he has a stellar market reputation for being commercially minded with a deep understanding of client needs and expectations.
His client base includes sponsors (including state-owned companies), borrower SPVs, contractors, suppliers and the full range of financing providers (banks, ECAs, DFIs, MLAs, private equity and fund investors).
His expertise spans the full ENRI value chain, including advising on transaction structuring, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, M&A, construction and development agreements, supply and offtake contracts, other core project agreements and commercial contracts, a wide range of multi-faceted financing and refinancing structures, and major disputes.
