Gianluca is a Supervising Associate in our Corporate & Commercial group in Milan and specialises in Energy and Infrastructures.

Gianluca’s practice deals with transactions in the renewable energy sector with particular focus on M&A and project financing transactions and on the negotiation and drafting of project contracts (EPC, O&M, power purchase agreements) related to renewable energy plants.

He advises Italian and international clients, including private equity funds, infrastructure funds and developers, on solar, wind, biomass, green hydrogen, battery energy storage systems projects and any other technology related to renewable energy.

Gianluca holds a LL.M Islamic Law from SOAS, University of London and a Ph.D. in Civil Law, University of Sassari. He is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Law of Economics at Unimercatorum, where he teaches Law and Economics (Diritto dell’Economia) and Energy Law (Diritto dell’Energia). He also teaches at Master executive (II level) in “Banking, Financial and Insurance Law” at Università del Salento and at the doctoral course at Università di Firenze.

He is author of books and scientific papers in matter of Civil Law and Law of Economics.
