Elaine is a supervising associate in the Asia employment group.
Elaine advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters in Hong Kong, including summary dismissals, unlawful and unreasonable dismissals, employee misconduct and investigations, bonus and employee incentive arrangements, and enforceability of restrictive covenants.
Elaine regularly assists employers with drafting employment contracts, workplace policies, and employee handbooks, and has led a number of multi-jurisdictional employment projects. She frequently handles employment issues arising from termination of contracts of employment, separations, discrimination and harassment claims, as well as data privacy and immigration matters. She has experience in advising on Labour Tribunal disputes, as well as dealing with Labour Department and Immigration Department investigations.
Elaine is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
