Helen is a partner in our Tax team in London and a Chartered Tax Adviser. She provides both direct and indirect tax advice on a wide range of matters and transactions, with particular experience in relation to real estate taxation, investment funds and private equity transactions. Her work also includes cross border fund and corporate structuring work, share acquisitions and disposals and advising on the formation of joint ventures, particularly in relation to real estate investment and development.

Helen has a wide range of experience in the asset management sphere, including advising on the establishment of offshore fund structures and the acquisition and disposal of interests in investment management businesses. Helen’s experience in the healthcare and life sciences sector includes advising healthcare specialist REITs on acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures and extensive experience in relation to the indirect tax matters affecting senior living developments.

Helen is a member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners’ Group and the Chartered Institute of Taxation Property Taxes Sub-Committee. She regularly responds to government consultations on tax issues that impact clients and writes for leading tax publications.
