Vincenzo is a leading authority on Healthcare and Life sciences regulatory matters. He both advises clients on a broad spectrum of aspects related to the pharma and medical device product lifecycle and routinely represents them before national competent authorities and the European Court of Justice.
Vincenzo is a partner in our Healthcare and Life Sciences Sector in Milan. He has a wide-ranging expertise in regulatory matters with a focus on clinical trials, orphan designation and marketing authorisation procedures, pharmacovigilance, data protection, market access, price and reimbursement, implementation of new technologies, AI and digital initiatives, inspections and enforcement.
After serving the European Medicines Agency as the head of the Legal Service from 2004 to 2012, he first practiced at a leading US law firm in Brussels and then became the leader of the Healthcare and Life Sciences team at a primary Italian law firm in Milan.
He is also Full Professor at the University of Insubria (Italy) where he teaches EU law and International Trade Law. Vincenzo is regarded as a global leader lawyer in life sciences by Who's Who Legal 2023, is recommended as a skilled lawyer by Chambers Europe and is in The Legal 500 Italy Hall of Fame, which cites sources describing Vincenzo as “the most experienced lawyer in Italy for pharmaceuticals work”.
