Betül advises banks, investment firms, asset managers, payment institutions and other financial service providers in all aspects of financial regulatory law. She has broad expertise in delivering to global market players a tailored full-service in all sorts of financial regulatory challenges, in both domestic and multi-jurisdictional cross-border scenarios.
Her work includes, amongst other things, advising and guiding clients through
- their founding and establishment, organisation and governance,
- their access to the market,
- the regulatory compliance of their business operations,
- the structuring and distribution of their products and services,
- all sorts of regulatory notification procedures, as well as
- supervisory (special) audits and measures.
Betül is based in the Frankfurt office. She studied law at the University of Konstanz, the University of Tuebingen and the University of Cardiff (Wales, UK). Before joining Simmons & Simmons, she has worked in the financial regulatory services and investment funds department of other international UK and US law firms.
