Neelam is a member of our financial services regulatory practice in London and specialises in regulated payments and lending. Neelam has expertise in advising major banks, FinTechs, and global payment service providers on the regulation of payment services and consumer credit lending. Leveraging experience from secondments to three UK retail banks, Neelam helps to foresee issues and develop commercial solutions, whether launching new products or reviewing existing products and processes for compliance with incoming legislation. Her recent work includes supporting with the structuring and launch of new products, digitalisation projects, and advising on multi-jurisdictional projects for firms who want to expand their product offering into other jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons in 2023, Neelam spent a decade at another London-headquartered global law firm.
