Niall is an Of Counsel in the firm’s Insurance and Construction group. Having qualified into the team at Simmons, Niall subsequently spent eight years in the insurance market in various roles, including four years as a Technical Claims Manager of third party claims for a large UK-based Insurer.
Now back at Simmons, Niall specialises in advising insurer clients on complex coverage disputes, as well as acting for both insurers and insureds in the defence of professional negligence (including contentious construction disputes) and D&O claims. Niall’s experience includes acting on domestic and international disputes through which he has advised a broad range of clients (accountants, construction professionals, universities and tech companies), as well as specialising in coverage advice in respect of Professional Indemnity, D&O, Excess Casualty and Property and Business Interruption wordings.
