Nicholas is an Associate in the banking team specialising in real estate finance. He also assists the transactional banking team acting on both lender and borrower side.
He has worked on real estate financing transactions across continental Europe and the UK spanning a variety of asset classes. As a part of Simmons’ international banking team, he works closely with our global offices and overseas counsel to assist with transaction management and to facilitate cross border deals. He brings a pragmatic and commercial approach to negotiation with a view of always getting a deal done.
Nicholas is an Australian qualified solicitor. In Australia he specialised predominantly residential development finance in all states of Australia. He also acted for borrowers on general corporate finance, real estate and working capital facilities including ASX listed corporates. Nicholas also provided advice on the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth).
Nicholas joined Simmons in 2022 from a large national firm in Australia.
